Dr. Lori Gore-Green has had extensive experience as a physician in the medical specialty of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Lori Gore-Green began her career in McAlester, Oklahoma where she opened her first practice with her husband. Dr. Lori Gore-Green’s community members were extremely happy to finally have a female OB/GYN.
After three years in Oklahoma, Dr. Lori Gore-Green relocated to Denton, Texas to be near family. She opened a successful private practice on the campus of the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital-Denton. Furthermore, her passion for community service led her to work with organizations that appreciated her commitment to humanity such as the Denton County Health Department and the Denton State Supported Living Center. Dr. Lori Gore-Green was honored with many awards while in Denton, Texas. Some of which are, Public Health Advocate of the Year, Extraordinary People Award, Community Service Award, & Leadership Service Award.
Due to her success in her own private practice and her duties for her community, Dr. Gore-Green led the OB/GYN department as the Chairperson from 2010-2011 at the Presbyterian Hospital of Denton.
In 2011, she was offered the position of Associate Clinical Professor of OB/GYN at the OSU-College of Health Sciences in Tulsa, Oklahoma. As an educator, she has enjoyed training residents, interns, and medical students. In addition, she assisted with the planning of the OMECO OB/GYN Residency Program, in 2012, and was appointed the position of Program Director. She was interviewed by channel 8 news for her participation in the 2012 Tulsa Women’s Living Expo, by channel 4 news for her opinion of the Tulsa Vision 2 project, and by Fox 23 news regarding the planning of a Faith/Health partnership in Tulsa.
Dr. Lori Gore-Green is currently involved in a medical project in partnership with several community leaders to assist individuals who are in need of health-care services to easily access medical care. Dr. Lori Gore-Green continues to educate individuals on how to manage a disease. As she has had colossal success in her own practices, she has had equal success bringing her expertise to her communities.
